GB Credit card processing firm expanding

A Gulf Breeze firm is expanding and relocating and will be hiring after the first of the year.

3Delta Systems, Inc., offers information-rich business-tobusiness payment processing, and business is good. They currently have clients such as Honeywell, General Electric and Cintas Corporation, among others, throughout the country.

The firm has been located in Quietwater Business Park and is finishing out a 4,000-square foot location upstairs at the Gulf Winds Building on Shoreline Drive across from Gulf Breeze High School.

“We are excited that 3Delta Systems, Inc., is leasing Gulf Winds Center and becoming our new neighbor,” said Chris Rutledge, President and CEO of Gulf Winds. “Gulf Winds continues to grow its business in Gulf Breeze, and we believe that 3Delta will find this to be a great community to grow their business.”

The firm, founded in 1999, is headquartered in Chantilly, Va., and became associated with Gulf Breeze when a key developer joined their team. Eventually, that developer recommended another resident to join the team and the firm began recruiting people from around the U.S. to relocate to its Gulf Breeze office.

Pete Hamel, vice president of platform delivery, moved to Gulf Breeze from Spokane, Wash., two years ago. Another employee relocated here from Seattle.

The Gulf Breeze office has 10 employees and will be hiring one to three individuals to perform technical customer service to its clients in an expanded business day, beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern time and finishing at 7 p.m. Pacific time.

“As our Gulf Winds Center property fills up with tenants, it is concrete proof that Gulf Breeze continues to be a viable place for businesses in all industries – local, national and international,” Rutledge said.

The training process will teach individuals the industry standards as well as the nuances between each credit card and the company’s methods, prior to that individual being able to perform customer service duties. More information is available at 3dsi.com.
