Crowell adds Cranial Release Technique to massage business
Crowell and daughter, Jasmine who has regular CRT treatments.
Licensed massage therapist Denise Crowell has been practicing massage therapy for 13 years. After receiving her Bachelors in Business Management from University of South Florida in 1996, she continued her education in the health field.
While in massage therapy school, she also became a Certified Personal Trainer, NASM, in January 1997. She graduated and was licensed as a massage therapist in April of 1997. Through the years, Denise has continued her education in several different massage modalities such as neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, and sports massage. Crowell was excited to learn of a new technique that expanded the affects of her already-successful massage therapy practice. In May 2009, Denise became a Cranial Release Practitioner.
"Cranial Release is the most profound and beneficial technique that I have added to my practice. It has changed my life as well as my clients," Denise states. "My 17 year- old daughter, Jasmine Crowell, definitely benefits from CRT. She is a very active, hard working student athlete. She plays volleyball throughout the entire year with a very rigorous schedule. CRT helps to keep her focus, balance her activities, expand her athletic talents and keep her from injury. You know the old saying, if you see me practicing what I preach, it works. There is nothing more valuable to me than my daughter Jasmine, and I've been giving her treatments for over a year," Crowell adds with a broad smile.
Crowell offers CRT to all student athletes at a discounted price, too.
What is Cranial Release Technique? Cranial Release Technique (CRT) is a natural, handson approach to releasing the body's inborn capacity to heal and regenerate itself. The release provided by CRT causes a relaxation of nervous system, fascia, and muscle tissue tension throughout the entire body, as well as a return to proper cerebrospinal fluid flow and dynamics. This is further accompanied by a reintegration of the brain hemispheres. This allows the brain and the central nervous system, as well as the body's energy meridian system, to move to a higher, more organized level of function. CRT can be applied in only minutes, yet it has profound effects on overall health and well-being.
"Everyone deals with stress in their lives," Crowell says. "Un-relieved stress can cause pain and disease throughout the body in many different forms. CRT allows your central nervous system to relax, get out of the "fight or flight syndrome" and allow your body to naturally heal itself. It naturally detoxifies your body."
"CRT fits perfectly in to my massage practice; it prepares my clients' mind and body for optimal health and healing."
CRT isn't just for muscular skeletal issues and injuries, it's for overall health. It can help with digestive problems, sinus/allergies, migraines, TMJ, anxiety, etc.
"I am pleased with the impact of Denise's treatments. I know CRT helps me, I go to her every week," says client Bill Agall. "I honestly feel like she has really improved my flexibility. And with the deep massage and CRT, she helped me improve my overall health. She is so very professional about it, too."
