Hawkins Park to reopen on August 4 with ceremony

Hawkins Park is set to reopen on Wednesday, August 4 after several years of restoration.
Hawkins Park, located on Munson Highway, was donated by the Hawkins family to the State of Florida. It was given freely with one consideration and that is the usage must have people with disabilities included in the event that is planned.
The park has about 3-plus acres that are available for picnicking, fishing and other activities.
The Arc Santa Rosa will once again begin maintaining and managing this wonderful park.
Jim DeBeaugrine, Director of the Agency for Persons with Disabilities in Tallahassee will at the 10 a.m. ceremony.
