Stemcosky now TSgt (E-6)

Robert Stemcosky of Gulf Breeze, a member of the U.S. Air Force, has been promoted to TSgt (E-6). The son of Bob Stemcosky and Lorri Adkins, the sergeant is stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga.

Stemcosky has been deployed to the Middle East five times. He and his wife, Kim, are looking forward to the birth of a daughter in May.

¦ Navy Seaman Recruit Austin M. Laffond, son of Tim White of Gulf Breeze and Anita Laffond of Milton, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Laffond is a 2009 graduate of Santa Rosa High School in Milton.
