The island lights up
     Are you dreaming of a white (sand) Christmas? The gulf winds are blowing a tropical holiday celebration onto Pensacola Beach. “Season Your Holidays with Island Spirit” kicks off on Friday, Nov. 27 as decorations are lit and carols are lifted at the Boardwalk around this year’s tropical palm Christmas tree.

1st Island Christmas Festival coming
      Our Lady of the Assumption Mission at 920 Via de Luna on Pensacola Beach will be hosting the first ever Island Christmas Festival on Sunday, Dec. 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. “We’re doing it to promote community out on the beach, and we hope to grow it to be an annual event, said LeeAnn Taylor, event co-chair.
