The Gulf Breeze Lady Dolphin golf team etched its name in the history books last week, taking fourth out of 16 teams at the 2A state golf tournament in Ocala. It was the best finish ever for a GBHS girls team at state. Their previous high was sixth place. More ... The Lady Dolphin volleyball team wasted little time in dispatching the Panama City Rutherford Lady Rams 25-14, 25-6, 25-9 in the Regional 1-4A Quarterfinals Nov. 4 in Gulf Breeze. GBHS used a balanced attack to advance to their first regional semifinal in five years. GBHS faced Wakulla Tuesday in the regional semifinals. The Gulf Breeze Dolphins will host their archrivals, the Navarre Raiders, in Beach Bowl II, Friday at 7:30 p.m. The winner gets Publix Beach Bowl Cup. presented by the Gulf Breeze News. The Raiders won the inaugural Beach Bowl last year in Navarre 18-9. Navarre has won the last two meetings between two schools, but Gulf Breeze has a 7-3 advantage all time in the series. More ...
