     Island residents brought their opinions to a meeting with the group selected as Master Planners for Pensacola Beach. Over 110 people attended the meeting which was held Oct. 28 at the Pensacola Beach Community Church and led by Paul Kissinger of Ed Stone and Associates,or EDSA.

Sensory sensitive movie showing caters to special-needs youth
      Gulf Breeze Cinemas 8 on Crane Cove Boulevard in Gulf Breeze will offer a special sensory sensitive screening of the movie ‘Astro Boy’at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. The movie will be shown at lower volume in a lighted theatre to better serve families affected by autism and other disabilities. Audience members will be welcome to get up, roam around, shout, sing or dance.

Tiger Point Golf Cart Parade a huge Halloween success
Participants show their imagination
      The Tiger Point Golf Cart Parade was a success again this year. Participants lined up at 4:30 p.m. at the Tiger Point Country Club. Golf Carts were judged by Toni Guthrie, owner, Gulf Breeze Aerobics and Fitness, and Brian Williams of Kool Karts. The parade route began at Tiger Point Country Club and led to Tiger Point Boulevard and down Ceylon Drive.
