      School, of course, started again Monday, and your intrepid newspaper editor once again braved the masses and walked amongst the controlled chaos on three Gulf Breeze campuses seeking unforgettable Kodak moments (see page 8A). Short of Christmas Eve, I'd say the first day of school is the most anxiety packed day of the year.

'Zoo' much too valuable to just let it go
      The Zoo Northwest Florida is closing after 25 years of excitement for generations of "locals" and visitors from around the world. Pat Quinn, the Potters, the Switzers and the many other founders and donors did not dedicate themselves and their money to the Zoo for personal profit. It was to provide an educational and cultural experience for every visitor.

FDA wants to know more about tobacco dangers
      The U.S. Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday announced an action regarding the implementation of the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act. The Agency has officially established the Tobacco Products Scientific Advisory Committee (TPSAC).
