Meet the Dolphin JV, ninth grade football teams
      While the 2009 Dolphin varsity squad is getting ready to play on Friday nights, the GBHS junior varsity and freshman teams will get the spotlight on Thursday nights. Both teams will each play a quarter in the team's intrasquad game Friday at 6 p.m. Both teams have six games scheduled, although head coach Chris Nemith is hoping to schedule at least one more for both teams.

Eight All Americans the most by any team at University of Florida camp; Chavers top cheerleader
      Several members of the Gulf Breeze High varsity, junior varsity and ninth grade cheerleading squads earned All American honors at the recent National Cheerleading Association camp at the University of Florida. Gulf Breeze had four varsity cheerleaders, three junior varsity cheerleaders and one ninth grade cheerleader earn NCA honors.

Dolphins hold intrasquad scrimmage, will play another Friday night
GBSA, Tiger Point juniors to play a quarter at Dolphin Stadium
      The Dolphin football team held a Saturday morning scrimmage at Dolphin Stadium, two days after practicing in pads for the first time. The varsity offense, behind a strong running game, scored a touchdown on the first series. Mario Villegas had a 15-yard run, while Eric Adams had a 23-yard run before Michael Mann threw a 17-yard touchdown pass to Brad Foley.
