Gulf Breeze Elementary fifth graders compete in Elite Mile race

The top eight male and female milers of the fifth grade class of Gulf Breeze Elementary competed in an Elite Mile race recently at Dolphin Stadium.

The winners will be remembered on the "wall of fame" until someone breaks their record. Megan Hawkins won the girl's mile with a time of 6:35 and Sam Joyce won the boy's mile with a time of 6:20.
