Gulf Breeze Elementary fifth graders compete in Elite Mile race
      The top eight male and female milers of the fifth grade class of Gulf Breeze Elementary competed in an Elite Mile race recently at Dolphin Stadium. The winners will be remembered on the "wall of fame" until someone breaks their record. Megan Hawkins won the girl's mile with a time of 6:35 and Sam Joyce won the boy's mile with a time of 6:20.

Pedaling for a good cause
     Subman (above) visited Good Shepherd Lutheran School recently for a fundraiser with St. Jude's Children's Hospital. "It's part of what we teach our students to give back to the community," Good Shepherd School Board President Arnold Egli said. The students rode around the church for as long and as far as they could. Every GSLC students competed in the Trike A Thon.
