1968-2009
Cheryl Lynn Peavy Shirey, 41, of Pensacola and formerly of Gulf Breeze, passed away Friday, June 26, 2009 Shirey was born Jan. 27, 1968. She was a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and best friend and a devoted wife. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will always be remembered for her smile, her laughter and her ability to make everyone feel special. Shirey is survived by her husband, Patrick Shirey; her two sons, Christopher (Donja) and Max; her precious granddaughter, Railyn; sisters, Janet Smith (John) and Samantha Peavy (Steve); nephews, Steven (Dana), Nick and Jansen; and two nieces. She also leaves behind her mother, Barbara Peavy; grandmother, Frances Didday; mother and father- in-law, Donald and Pat Shirey; sisters-in-law, Kim and Kelly Shirey; brother-inlaw, Winn Shirey; numerous aunts, uncles and friends. Shirey was preceded in death by her father, James T. Peavy Jr., whom she loved and adored. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 30 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. The family planned to hold a later private burial. Arrangements were entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze. |
