Thursday, June 11 Fiesta Day Parade hits the streets Head downtown to catch some beads and enjoy watching beautiful floats parade through downtown Pensacola Thursday, June 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Pen Air Federal Credit Union Fiesta Day Parade. Special appearances will be made by DeLuna LX, his queen, their court, and our parade Grand Marshals are the Emerald Coast Honor Flight World War II Veterans. Join the merriment as Fiesta, krewes, community groups, bands, and many others commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Fiesta of Five Flags celebration and the special significance of 2009 as the 450th celebration of the discovery of Pensacola. Kitt Lough performs at Evenings in Olde Seville Pensacola's own Kitt Lough will bring her sultry style and velvet vocals to Seville Square's gazebo stage June 11. Backed by a jazz quartet, Lough, whose debut CD "Orange Colored View" made waves on the jazz scene, has recently performed regularly at local venues The Fish House and 600 South. Lough's music recalls a time of romance and glamour, a perfect complement to Evenings spectacular and romantic summer setting. Friday, June 12 'The Music Man' is coming to PLT The all-American story of "The Music Man" is coming to Pensacola Little Theatre from June 12 - 28. Saturday, June 13 Fiesta of Five Flags holds airplane meet The 50th Annual Tom McLaughlan Fiesta of Five Flags Southeastern Model Airplane Championship at Navy Helicopter Field Site 8A on East Nine Mile Road near the Navy Federal Credit Union complex will be June 13 - 14 at 8 a.m. The model airplane championship is divided into four basic categories: internal combustion, engine-powered, rubber motor powered, and gliders. Monday, June 15 Cast of ABC's Dancing with the Stars coming to Pensacola Cast members from the hit television show Dancing with the Stars are coming to the Saenger Theatre on Monday, June 15 at 7 p.m. for the Life's a Dance event, which will benefit Covenant Hospice. Tony Dovolani, Elena Grinenko, Fabian Sanchez, Eric Luna and Georgia Ambarian from the hit television show will be dancing for the Pensacola crowd.
