Crookes to celebrate 50 years of marriage

Lois and Charles Crooke of Gulf Breeze will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, June 6. They were married June 6, 1959, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pensacola.

The Crookes have two daughters, Cheryl Ridgway (Mrs. Keith) and Jeanne Prendergast; and four grandchildren: Sarah and Shaun Ridgway, and Charlie and Jason Prendergast.

Dr. Lois Crooke is retired from Pensacola Junior College after teaching Business Education for 32 years. Dr. Charles Crooke, DDS, practices general dentistry in Pensacola, where he has had a practice for 56 years.

The couple will celebrate Saturday with a family dinner at their home at 111 Beach Drive in Gulf Breeze.
