Class of '09 earns $7.4M in scholarships
      The Gulf Breeze High Class of 2009 raked in more than $7.4 million in scholarships, it was announced during their GBHS Senior Awards banquet last week. More than 60 percent of the senior class (344 members) received one or more scholarships recognizing their outstanding achievements during high school.

Giving for a good cause
      Brie Perdue, age 12, recently donated her hair for Locks of Love, with the help of her stylist, Wann Doan at Salon Allure in Gulf Breeze. Brie donated her hair in memory of her Mamau, Margaret Childers, who passed away three years ago.
