      Jessie Mason "Macy" Jones, 91, a lifelong resident of Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, passed away Friday, May 15 in Pensacola. Jones was born in Pine Barren on April 19, 1918, the daughter of Murdock Baker and Gasque Ward. Her mother moved the family to Pensacola in 1926. It was there that she eventually met her husband, Ben Jones, who was stationed at Pensacola NAS.

BOBBIE J. LITTLETON

      Bobbie Jene Littleton, 79, of Gulf Breeze, passed away May 17. Littleton was born July 22, 1929 in Lineville, Ala., the daughter of Z.R. and Eva East. She was the ninth of their 10 children. She served as an educator in the Gulf Breeze schools and as a leader at First Baptist Church Gulf Breeze for many years.
