The second annual Military Fishing Trip had to be postponed till Tuesday due to inclement weather on Saturday, and the anglers got the picture perfect day they wanted.

Col. Jim Knell, himself retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, organized the trip as an award for outstanding recruits in all branches of service. The 30-member crew departed aboard The Entertainer for a day of fishing, with Dave Hunt winning the trophy for catching the biggest fish.

A crowd gathered to greet the returning boat and show their appreciation for the anglers as part of Military Appreciation Month.

Many sponsors helped make this event successful, donating food, money and services.
