TripAdvisor®, the world's largest travel community, recently named Pensacola among the "Best Family Friendly Vacations" in the United States and Canada.

Florida led the list with 13 cities represented, followed by Hawaii with five. The Gulf of Mexico beach, ZOO Northwest Florida, Sam's Fun City, Historic Pensacola Village, the Pensacola Historical Museum, Seville Square and the two Civil War forts all attributed to making Pensacola a top TripAdvisor® family-friendly destination.

TripAdvisor® selected Pensacola Beach as one of the top 10 U.S. beaches in 2008 along with other notable beaches such as South Beach, Oahu and San Diego beaches.
