Blood Drive, mini golf outing set for Oct. 18
      Do a good turn and give blood Saturday, Oct. 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Casino Beach Parking lot. The drive is a joint venture of the Pensacola Beach American Legion Post 379 and B.P.O. Elks Lodge 497, with a Putt Putt Golf Outing planned for the same day at Tiki Island Golf & Games.

Seashore employee Dick Zani marks 50th year in federal service
      The Gulf Islands National Seashore staff recognized 50 years of federal service of fellow employee, Dick Zani on September 16th. Dick, who is from Gulf Breeze, is currently the park's safety officer and volunteer coordinator. He has no plans of slowing down.
