PBOC plans summer social, photo contest

Attention photographers! Gather your best work and enter the Pensacola Beach Optimist Photo Contest.

This year's theme is Hot Shots and will be at 6 p.m. August 19 at Hunt Hall, Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Pensacola Beach. It will feature food, beverages, games and prizes.

Proceeds from this fun fundraiser go to the Optimist International Childhood Cancer Campaign.
