Sounds of Summer Sounds of Summer welcomes blues band Tin Feet on Friday, July 25 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The weekend gets primitive when Civilized Natives take the stage Saturday, July 26, and the weekend closes with The Kee Creek Band on Sunday, July 27.
Civilized Natives keep the music going with an evening of original music and popular covers from Alanis Morissette to Chuck Berry and even Janis Joplin. The Kee Creek Band combines the sounds from their instruments with exceptionally tight vocal harmonies to create unique, crowd-pleasing music. Evenings in Olde Seville Square The "Evening's" annual Jazz Nite featuresPensacola Jones & Company/Perdido Brass, July 10 from 7-9 p.m. in historic Seville Square in downtown Pensacola. The Sawmill Band will perform on Thursday, July 24. This concert is sponsored by the Jazz Society of Pensacola. Tickets available for annual Evening of Comedy Tickets are on sale now for 14th annual Evening of Comedy event, which benefits Covenant Hospice. The event will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday August, 2 at the Hilton Pensacola Beach Gulf Front. Hosted by Sue Straughn, the evening includes a silent and live auction, hors d'oeuvres, a gourmet dinner, a cash bar and a whole lot of laughter. Nationally known comedian Carlos Oscar, will provide the evening's entertainment. Oscar has risen to be one of the most sought after comics today. Known for his charming, witty and energetic stage persona, Oscar fully acts out his jokes by telling stories everyone can identify with, and metamorphosing into various characters and voices. He jokes most often about the humorous side of family, pop-culture and everyday mishaps. Tickets are $100 and are available online at www.covenanthospice.org.
