More music planned for the beach

The Santa Rosa Island Authority presents "Sounds of Summer," a new summer concert series to keep your hips swaying and your fingers snapping all summer long. The free concerts will be held three nights a week at the Quietwater Shell on the Boardwalk, overlooking the pristine Santa Rosa Sound. Local musicians will entertain families from 5:30- 7:30 p.m. most Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from June 8 through Labor Day Weekend.

"Sounds of Summer is going to be a great opportunity for families to come out and enjoy the beach, watch the breathtaking sunset over the water and hear talented local musicians play some really great tunes," said Buck Lee, SRIA Executive Director. "With Bands on the Beach, it will be four great nights of free, live music on Pensacola Beach."

Gulf Breeze News will give details weekly.
