First Methodist invites couples; Concord Presbyterian plans VBS

The Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church offers many opportunities for study and fellowship for all ages.

Looking for a couples group to join in with? A new, sixweek Sunday evening couples group will meet on Sunday evenings from 6 to 7:30 on the Main Campus, Room 8. This is a video-based study titled 'Male & Female' by Dan B. Allender.

Men and women are different from each other, yet not opposites. What do gender differences mean for our personal identity? What do they mean in marriage? Explore and respond to Scripture together.

This series is designed to help you and your spouse discover the strength and beauty of your marriage. Childcare is available. Workbook cost is $7. Contact Kathy at knorberg@gbumc.org or 932- 3594 for more information or registration.

A women's Bible Study begins on Wednesday, mid- May through August, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Main Campus Room 8. A variety of individual video and discussion based lessons will be offered throughout the summer. Video presenters are Beth Moore, Jennifer Rothschild, Mary Kassian, Tianne Moon, Lisa Whelchel, Angela Thomas, Anne Graham-Lotz and Priscilla Scirer. Come any week, there is no advance preparation necessary. The class will be facilitated by Laurie Gill and Barbara Rantz.

Senior adults meet for Bible study each Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Room 7 at the Main Campus. The Letters of John is led by Pastor Ruth Knight for this fun, interactive group study. No preparation is necessary. Please join us.

Following the Bible Study, the Lunch Bunch leaves at 11 and travels to a local area restaurant to enjoy fun, food and fellowship. Dutch treat, no reservation necessary.

The Senior Adult Ministry's Sharing and Caring will meet Monday, May 12, at 11 a.m. in the Gilmore Fellowship Hall. The Silvertones will present a program entitled 'Radio Live WUMC-WWII Tunes.' Lunch will cost $3 No reservation necessary.
