BRIEFS Air Force Airman Brandon P. McLeod has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, McLeod studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. He is the son of Bonnie McLeod of Gulf Breeze and Bruce McLeod of Pensacola. Boles' piano students to play The piano students of Mrs. Beth Boles will be presented in their Spring Recital Thursday, May 8, 6 p.m. at Dollarhide's Music, 41 South Palafox Street. Those participating are: Max Kirchgessner, Caroline Sullivan, Anne Marie Tamburro, Josh Martin, Allison Hanline, Lauren Cleveland, Tyler Fisher, Krista Woods, Macy Clay and Jordan Wells. New disaster aid group to meet Santa Rosa County Emergency Management invites all non-profits, faithbased organizations and businesses to join the newly formed COAD, or Community Organizations Active in Disaster. The inaugural meeting with lunch provided is Wednesday, May 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the county auditorium located at 4530 Spikes Way in Milton. COAD is a means for non-governmental organizations to become involved in disaster preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery of the community.
