25th annual GCI this weekend

A total of 87 teams will take part in the silver anniversary of the Gulf Coast Invitational this weekend at Ashton Brosnaham Park. The host club, the Bayside Soccer Club, will have eight teams entered in the tournament - five boys and three girls teams.

In boys divisions are the U11 Bayside Elite, the U13 Bayside boys, the U14 Bayside boys, the U16 Bayside Thunder and the U18 Bayside Breakers.

In girls divisions are the U12 Bayside girls, the U15 Bayside Heat and the U18 Bayside Storm.

The U13 and U18 boys have five teams in their bracket, while the U11 and U14 boys and U18 girls both have six teams. The U15 girls have seven teams, while the U12 girls and U16 boys have eight teams.

The finals are slated for Sunday.
