Mikul, Panos exchange vows in Atlanta
The bride is the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Allen R. Mikul of Pelham, Ala., and formerly of Gulf Breeze. The groom is the son of Dr. George Panos of Columbus, Ga., and the late Elizabeth Badger Panos. The Rev. Charles Gardner officiated at the ceremony. Special music was provided by soprano Mrs. Joy Morris Nelson, a sorority sister of the bride, Mr. Kevin Lyons, trumpeter, and Mr. Scott Atchison, organist. The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father. Attending the bride as Matron of Honor was Lorena Roltsch Cornwell. The Bridesmaids were Vickie Beth Blumenthal, Allison Tate Capell, Kristy Michelle Croll, Leah Colby VanLeuven and Christine Burnett Zollenberg. Junior Bridesmaid was Kristina Lynn Mikul. Olivia Katherine Mikul was flower girl, and Melissa Ann Miller, program attendant. Dr. George Panos, father of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Arthur Bryan Baer, Erling Ryan Chappelle, Joseph Ticknor King, Joshua Taylor Kivett and Stanley Leland Merritt Jr. Zachary Lane Shackelford was ring bearer. Reader was Michael Henry Harris. Dancing and fellowship was held at the Capitol City Club of Atlanta. Following a honeymoon on the Greek Islands and in Athens, Greece, the couple now reside in Atlanta. The bride is a banking center manager for the Royal Bank of Canada, and the groom is a product liability attorney for an international law firm. |
