Conovers celebrate 64 years of marriage

Pam Brannon/Gulf Breeze News George and Margaret Conover, ages 92 and 93, have been married 64 years.

George and Margaret Conover of Gulf Breeze celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on Easter.

George said Margaret had "robbed the cradle" all those many years ago, since she is 93 now and he is 92. They have four children. Since she grew up here, Marageret said she was very happy when George decided to and in Midway on the Sound that her ancestors purchased for 50- cents an acre.
