PB Elks raise funds for a cure

The Pensacola Beach Elks Club members are looking forward to the Gulf Breeze Relay for Life, scheduled for April 25 and 26 at Gulf Breeze High School. To help raise money and awareness for the event, the Elks held an auction on April 12. The event was hosted by T. Bubba Bechtol. Interesting items of note included an autographed Jermaine O'Neal jersey and a football autographed by Danny Wuerffel. The teams provided the auction items though individual gifts and local business sponsorship donations. A butterfly table was at the auction representing the American Cancer Society. The butterflies will be released at the Gulf Breeze High School Stadium on April 26.
