On Thursday, spring breakers were soaking up rays on the Quietwater Beach. Santa Rosa Island Authority Executive Director Buck Lee said the spotty weather didn't deter many people from enjoying the beach. "There were a lot of people out," Lee said, adding that many anglers were catching pompano from the Gulf pier.
