Tiger Point Country Club rolls out the 'greens' carpet for Grand Re-opening
Ivan and Dennis also damaged the lives of the residents of Gulf Breeze, Florida and changed the vacation habits of tourists to the area. Tiger Point owner Meadowbrook Golf knew the importance of Tiger Point Golf Club to the company and to the Emerald Coast community and has resurrected it from the ashes. The new Tiger Point Golf Club clubhouse has all of the finest amenities and grand finishes. It and the other Meadowbrook Golf clubhouses destroyed by Ivan and Dennis will stand as symbols of the rebirth of the Emerald Coast. Meadowbrook CEO Ron Jackson who was on the Emerald Coast last week to inspect all three clubhouses stated about Tiger Point's clubhouse stated "The transformation of the clubhouse from before the Hurricanes is dramatic. I believe that the Tiger Point membership who has patiently stood by us as well as the community of Gulf Breeze as a whole will be taken back by the beauty and functionality of the club. I can see generations being married here. Tiger Point will once again take its place as the place to be seen. Headed by renowned Chef Karen Hatchell, the menu for both lunch and dinner featuring seafood, healthy and eastern fare will solidify its position of prominence." The Tiger Point clubhouse will officially open with a Re-Grand Opening celebration April 11, 2008. The grand reopening includes an invitational golf outing at 1p.m. followed by hors d'oeurves and drink at 6 p.m. The clubhouse at The Club at Hidden Creek in Navarre, Florida opened in October 2007 and the clubhouse at Scenic Hills Country Club in Pensacola, Florida is currently under construction and slated to open in May 2008. "I could not be happier with the work our general contractor Cajun Construction of Navarre, Florida performed not only here at Tiger Point but also at Hidden Creek," Jackson praised. "Our investment in these three Emerald Coast Golf Trail clubhouses of Tiger Point, Hidden Creek and Scenic Hills will total in excess of $10 million." "We feel we could not have made a better investment in a better community than here on the Emerald Coast," Jackson says. Meadowbrook Golf owns a fourth club that makes up the Emerald Coast Golf Trail called Shalimar Pointe located near Ft Walton Beach. Its clubhouse sustained no damage from the hurricanes Ivan and Dennis.
