Calvary to hold blessing at Tiger Point Park

Landscaping Improvement Day will be Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Anyone available to help refurbish the grounds is encouraged to bring a wheelbarrow, pitchfork or rake and meet at the front of the Reception Hall.

Join members of Calvary Chapel at Tiger Pint Park on April 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as they enjoy music, food, water slides, competitive games, big toys, concessions and more. This event is not only a blessing to the kids and families of our community, but it also is training for the focused youth Mexico Mission Team.

The Enchiladas for Ensenada event will be Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m. Following second service, members are holding their first ever Enchiladas for Ensenada in the courtyard and reception hall. This event will support the youth who are going to Mexico. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the church office.

St. Ann works toward 13th Habitat house

The church's 13th Habitat for Humanity home is on it's way to being completed. Members will be scheduling a day for painting as soon as the dry wall, electric, and plumbing are finished. Thank you to volunteers who have dedicated their time to this project. And a special thank you to the Christian Service Committee and Our Lady of the Assumption Middle School Sunday School classes ( under direction of Tracy Elliot and Margie Pitts) for providing lunch for volunteers.

Volunteers may work individually or in small groups. Projects include: installing window fixtures, lights and door knobs. Volunteers with some knowledge of home repairs needed. To participate please contact Lisa Washburn, volunteer coordinator at 850- 434-5456 or lwashburn@pensacolahabitat. org.

GBUMC parking lot sale is Saturday

The United Methodist Women of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church will have a Parking Lot Sale and Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Life Center, located at Soundside Drive and Highway 98.

Join church members and enjoy pancake breakfast. Adults are $5 and children under 12 are $3. Patrons can help by donating their nonclothing items or baking goodies for the bake sale or renting a parking space to sell their own items. Spaces rent for $25 or $35 with a table. Bring prepriced items to room 15 at the main campus through April 11 or bring them to the community life center April 11. Call 850-932-3594 today to reserve a space. The event will benefit Caring and Sharing and the Manna Food Bank.
