Thanks for a great expo, GB chamber members

This past weekend we held our 19th Annual Gulf Breeze Expo. The success or failure of every Chamber event or enterprise is determined by the dedication and hard work of the volunteers who serve on our Chamber committees. Without the on-going commitment of our Board of Directors, Chamber volunteers, staff and members, who are passionate about honoring the mission of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce and the support of this great community, we, as an organization would not exist.

Congratulations & Thankyou to the Gulf Breeze Expo 2008 Committee, Vendors, Exhibitors, Sponsors, Media Partners, Door Prize & Mystery Booth Donors, Volunteers, Friends & Attendees for creating the Best Expo Ever!!!

So many people worked so hard, all year long, to make this event a success for all the business members of the Gulf Breeze Chamber and the entire Gulf Breeze Community. We estimate that approximately 2500-3000 people were in attendance this year! We had over 135 participants/exhibitors and we estimate 200 or more people came out for the Taste of Expo on Friday night! Now is the time to sign-up for Gulf Breeze Expo 2009!!

Our Thank-you list is long, but it is also a tribute to our Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce members! Please take a moment to read the list of people and their businesses who were responsible for the success of Gulf Breeze Expo 2008 and if you see them when you're out and about- please thank them.

Shamrocks Against Dystrophy bring Irish smiles

As chairperson of MDA's Shamrocks Against Dystrophy, I want to take a moment to thank businesses and patrons in the Gulf Breeze area for their generous participation in our 2008 campaign. I'm delighted to say that this year's fundraising efforts were a great success.

Those little green and gold Shamrocks mobiles sold by local businesses help support MDA's vital programs of research, health care services and public education right here in Gulf Breeze and across the country.

On behalf of all the individuals and families coping with muscle-wasting diseases, I send a big warm "thank you" to Gulf Breeze residents - you've certainly put a smile in these Irish eyes!
