JAMES H. FARRAR 1944 - 2008

James H. "Jim" Farrar, age 63, of Navarre, passed away after a brief illness on March 25.

Jim was born on September 19, 1944 in Bell, CA. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for over 25 years, retiring from the Office of Special Investigations (OSI) with the rank of Captain in 1989.

He worked as a volunteer with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office in 2007 and 2008.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Jayne and James Farrar of Anza, California; and step-son, Daniel Castleberry of Navarre.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Farrar of Navarre; and three stepsons, Gary Justiss and wife Monica of Seattle, WA, Mark Justiss and wife Sharon of Shalimar, FL, and Michael Justiss, USAF, Active Duty T/Sgt, and wife Christy of Navarre. Jim is also survived by his sister, Gaylene Horton; niece, Shanda Sohner; and great-niece, Eislee Sohner all of Canyon Lake, CA. He was a beloved papa to nine grandchildren, Christopher and Tyler Justiss, Julian and Lance Castleberry, Arianna and Bryan Justiss, Pacific Justiss, David Hurst and Adan Castleberry.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at First Baptist Church of Mary Esther with full military honors.
