If we pondered more we would all get along

Ever so often I write about what I'm pondering about. People react more to my pondering than they do anything else I do or write about. I wonder why more people don't ponder. If we pondered more, we could all get along. People don't ponder before they partake! We don't ponder before we pontificate! If we did we would have all those left over words.

These are thoughts that I have come to when I pondered recently.

If you want the world to beat a path to your door, just try to take a nap on a Sunday afternoon. I don't know why but people know when I fall asleep when I'm supposed to be up. They call, they come by and they somehow figure out how to disturb me!

You don't measure what you are worth by money, if you do you won't be worth much! Measure wealth not by the things you have, but by the things you have for which you would not take money. Measure your money by your needs, not your wants.

When your dreams turn to dust, it's time to vacuum. Are you still living a dream that was once a goal? If you can't see the goal anymore you don't have a dream. You will look stupid and waste you life if you don't vacuum and move into another place.

Is your holier side your altar ego? I know some that are this way. What a way to live life alone. Old and lonely are the two most hated words in the English language.

What's dumber, expecting educators to be entertaining, or expecting entertainment to be educational? Either way you will win if you know how to teach and entertain at the same time. If you don't become a principal.

I ponder that this election will be the downfall of our nation or not. We have extreme's running, no one is in the big middle. The change we get may be more than we can survive with. Change is not always good, many times it is for the worse. I fear that we have yet to see just how bad it can be.
