The musical revue is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Building 8, on the Pensacola campus. Comprised of theatre professionals and rising stars from the greater Pensacola community, Broadway a la Carte 2008 features selections from "DreamGirls," "Jersey Boys," "Mamma Mia" and other Broadway hits. Tickets are $12, general admission; $8, seniors, children, non-PJC students; $6, Senior Club members, PJC staff/faculty/ retirees; free, PJC students. Friday night, they will participate in Pensacola Rocks, a benefit concert series at the UWF Field House. The event will feature at least nine acts including their band, which is named Devoured in the Night. Other performers include Cat & Karen, Patricia Musgrove, Troublesome, Local Hero, Skunk Salad Syndrome, the Hyer Duo and more. The music styles vary from folk to bluegrass to "deathcore," which is how Gordon Frank describes the genre favored by Devoured in the Night. The event, which is a drug and alcohol free event for age 12 and over, will benefit Gulf Coast Kids House. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. U.S. Army Field Band at PJC Get your free tickets now for the United States Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus concert at Pensacola Junior College. The spectacular musical event is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Hartsell Arena in the Louis A. Ross Health and Sports Center, Building 3, on the Pensacola campus. The Soldiers' Chorus is a mixed choral ensemble that travels the globe, performing as a separate component and in joint concerts with the Concert Band of the "Musical Ambassadors of the Army." Ticket limit is four per person. Patrons must be seated by 7:15 p.m. Unclaimed seats will be given away.
