Congratulations and farewell!

Friends and family gathered around 1st Lt. Seth Gulsby, center left in blue jacket, to congratulate him on his "winging" and to wish him well. A West Point graduate, Gulsby completed his flight school at Ft. Rucker in Enterprise, Ala. Gulsby has since reported to Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado to prepare for his upcoming deployment to Iraq in April. "We would love for you to join us on the patio at Sidelines Restaurant, to wish him well as he moves to the next phase of his military career," wrote parents Bette and Bob Harriman. "Thank you all for everything you have ever done for him.Your love and support have made him the man he is today." The crowd shared stories about the impressive young man and questioned him about his training and his career. "This guy could go all the way to General if he wants to," praised former school teacher and mentor COL. (ret) Doug Mills, one of Gulsby's G.B.H.S. teachers and a former instructor at West Point.
