Candidates to vie for local, state offices

Candidates are throwing their hats into the ring, hopeful to earn votes for the August 26 primary election.

In Santa Rosa County, the following candidates pre-filed to run for the following offices, with the amount of money raised listed beside the candidates that have reported to the Supervisor of Elections. All are filing as Republicans, except for those filing for non-party affiliated offices, and where specified.

Once the party nominee is determined, he or she will advance to the general election, which is November 4.
