Dolphin swim team smartest in state
Four GBHS fall sports teams earn top three finishes

The GBHS fall sports had a strong showing on the course and in the pool this past season. They're also shining in the classroom as well as four Dolphin sports team made the top three in their respective classifications in the 2007-08 Florida High School Athletic Association's Academic team competition.
One of them, the boys swim team, was not only named the 2A state champion, they were also the overall champions as well.
The Dolphin swimmers had a team grade point average of 3.656. The next closest school, Daytona Beach Mainland, was second in Class 2A with a GPA of 3.587.
The boys' cross country team and the girls' swim team were second in Class 2A, while the girls cross country team was third. The top five for those four sports was as follows:
