The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Northwest Florida Chapter honored Moulton Properties, Innisfree Jet Center and Andrews Institute

NAIOP members and friends gathered at McGuire's Grand Hall on Jan. 22 for the 2007 "Annual Meeting and Development of the Year Awards" celebration. NAIOP works on behalf of the commercial real estate and development industries. The 2007 Development of the Year winners are:

2007 Small Development of the Year - Moulton Properties' North 12th Avenue Project

"For their successful conversion of a 46-year old institutional public service building to an attractive, efficient, modern office building - while preserving the charm of the East Hill community, Moulton Properties well deserves this award," said NAIOP Programs Co-Chair, Veronica Dias. Until the recent renovation, the building has been vacant since 2005.

2007 Medium Development of the Year -- Innisfree Jet Center Project

This project is an attractive, innovative design for an important "gateway" to Pensacola. This first class corporate aviation facility consists of 4,200 square feet of office area and 16,000 square feet of aircraft hangar space located at Pensacola Regional Airport. The experience begins with innovative features such as recessed blue lighting in walkways that mimic taxiways on the airport, to a 3-story atrium entrance, to a space age designed board room and continues to the hanger floors that have an impressive quality finish. The facility includes a work-out facility and a commercial kitchen with a resident chef.

2007 Large Development of the Year -- The Andrews Institute

One of the most aesthetically appealing health care facilities in the country is now located in our community. "The Andrews Institute is a world-class medical care, total fitness, and medical research facility that should provide a catalyst for medical and business innovations as it expands the opportunity for celebrity health care to all area residents," said NAIOP Programs Co-Chairman, Bo Johnson. It is comprised of 127,000 square foot, two-building complex that sits on 10- acres contiguous to Gulf Breeze Hospital. Look for this project to be the cornerstone for additional exciting announcements in the years ahead.

Member of the Year Award - Justin Beck

The President's Award for Member of the Year is the highest honor that NAIOP bestows on a member. 2007 President Nelson Bradshaw, Compass Bank, said "This year's winner is known to all members as hard working, energetic, and a positive influence on everyone he meets." Our Member of the Year is Justin Beck, of Beck Properties, Inc.
