Here at Gulf Breeze Courtyard we offer a total home experience, no locked units. We are neither ashamed of our memory care residents nor are we willing to segregate them.

Our Memory Care residents have full use of the entire building. They can walk to the lobby or venture out into one of our two beautifully landscaped inner courtyards. Because of the freedom, our Memory Care residents enjoy, families have told us that the anxiety and frustration their loved ones have felt in the past has been replaced with happiness, contentment, improved relationships and functional independence for a longer period of time.

Our round-the-clock care, from our trained specialists, allows our staff to give the most appropriate level of care. Staff members are taught to recognize changes, related to the impairment, in order to recommend, to our Director of Nursing, changes in care and activities. Any changes observed are immediately relayed to the family members and a plan of care is worked through and approved to allow for the best possible care action for the memory care resident.

Our dining experience that is offered at Gulf Breeze Courtyard allows for an enjoyable experience for our memory care residents. Our tables are set with table cloths, silverware and condiments, just as if they were going out for an enjoyable relaxing meal.

At Gulf Breeze Courtyard, our apartments are large with walk-in closets in every room. Our spacious rooms allows for more personal belongings, which is extremely important for the longtime functionality of a memory care person.
