Event to benefit Rookie Teacher

The 2008 Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce 20th Anniversary Gala scheduled for Saturday, February 2 from 6 p.m. to midnight at the Hilton Pensacola Beach, will feature a fun and fabulous new event, Bubbles & Bling presented by Jewelers Trade Shop and the Gulf Breeze News.

Three champagne glasses will be on display at the Gala, each featuring a full pour of bubbly and a stone-either a diamond or a cubic zirconium donated by Jewelers Trade Shop.

Guests will have the chance to purchase a ticket and guess as to which of the three glasses holds the diamond. Excitement will mount until the close of the evening, when one name will be drawn for each glass.

One at a time, winning guests will have the chance to drink from the flute they have chosen, while Jewelers Trade Shop representatives look on. Only one will win the diamond, but the other two winners will get to keep their high quality stones.

Drawing tickets will be available during the Gala for $20 each or six tickets for $100 with proceeds benefiting the Santa Rosa County Education Foundation "Rookie Teacher of the Year."
