Navarre resident Moonstone Star White was awarded with an honorable mention in the London Book Festival Awards Wild Card category for her book: "High Way from Hell: Using Emotion to Fan the Fire of Enlightenment."

White, a certified hypnotherapist, says that her book is about "Becoming in tune with who you are and what you want, to let go of judgments and allow yourself to feel whatever you're feeling. Whether it lasts for two minutes, two hours, or two days, by letting go of that there's a message from the subconscious that will find its way forwards when the chatter of the mind clears."

White has spent decades focusing on personal growth work and spiritual study. She began by studying yoga and theories of reincarnation, Tai Chi, energy movements, and said to have been heavily influenced by the spirituality of Native American traditions. In more recent years she has studied neurolinguistic programming, spiritual training, aroma therapy, and hypnotherapy.

White will be exhibiting her book at the 6th Annual Emerald Coast Metaphysical Festival, held at the Navarre Conference Center in the Comfort Inn. Hours are Saturday, February 9 from 10-8 and Sunday, February 10 from 10-6. She will have books for sale there and will be available for signing. Her book is also now available on Amazon.com and at Barnsandnoble.com.
