Car reported stolen
BY STEFFANEY CLARK Gulf Breeze News news@gulfbreezenews.com

Astolen vehicle was reported on Jan. 14 on the 100 block Gilmore Drive.

The vehicle, a 2007 beige Lincoln town car, had been parked in the driveway of the victim at approximately 11p.m. the evening prior, at which time the victim's son had gone out to the car, locked the doors and set the alarm.

According to a police report, the victim stated that that she had both sets of keys in her purse, but upon checking her purse, she found that one set of keys was missing. The victim then recalled that the last time she had seen both sets of keys in her purse had been Saturday morning. She stated that she had been at the Escambia County Jail and to her younger son's home at 400 block Williamsburg Drive. She claimed that she did not put her purse down one time while she was in the jail.

Another resident at her home said that she had seen the car at 3:30 that morning.

The victim noticed Saturday morning her car had been moved very close to the house. This surprised her because she does not park there.

Anyone with information about the crime is encouraged to call the Gulf Breeze Police Department at 850-934-5121.
