Man arrested for golf cart fraud
The press release says citizen complaints allege that Williams, 56, took golf carts in for service and would either sell the customer's cart or remove or exchange parts without the customer's knowledge. The state attorney's office is seeking additional information concerning the ownership of various golf carts. Investigators are also asking anyone who believes they were a victim of fraud or anyone that purchased a golf cart from Williams' Golf Cars in the last two years should contact Investigator Richard Furmaniuk or Investigator Jeffrey Shuler at 850-981-5500. |
