First Baptist offers new Bible studies

First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze recently announced the following Bible studies:

Beth Moore's "Stepping Up"

Themes such as unity, joy and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail.

Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God.

Reserve by Feb. 8 so organizers can order the book for $12. The study will begin Feb 14

Beth Moore's "A Heart Like His"

This is a study of King David that runs from Jan 3 until Feb 7. There is no cost to participate.

Leviticus

This Ladies Bible study will take each verse of Leviticus and discuss it's application.

There is no cost to participate.

All studies take place on Thursdays at 10 a.m., and childcare is provided at no cost for children up to 4 years old.

GBUMC hosts blood drive, fitness for seniors

A blood drive will be held on Jan. 13 at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church Main Campus, located at 75 Fairpoint Drive in Gulf Breeze. The blood drive will take place from from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Rejoice fitness for seniors begins Jan. 15 from 4 to 4:45 p.m. This five week series will meet on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings. This is designed for those not quite able to participate in a low impact aerobics class. Exercises will be done seated and standing next to a chair for support. A simple health questionnaire will need to be completed along with a physician note. Participate as your schedule permits. The cost is $15 for the entire series.
