Dolphins win Andrews Invitational
Top three teams separated by two and a half points

      The Gulf Breeze Dolphin' wrestling team won the first annual Andrews Institute Christmas Invitational wrestling tournament at Gulf Breeze High on December 22. It was the first tournament the Dolphin wrestling team hosted in their five-year history.

      The Gulf Breeze Dolphin soccer team scored three second half goals to win 3-0 at PHS on Dec. 21. The trend is becoming habit for the Dolphins - every time this season they've gone to halftime scoreless, they pulled out the win in the second half. GBHS has done it four times this season.

Lady Dolphins lose at Lincoln

      Soccer can sometimes be an ugly game and the Lady Dolphins found that out in Tallahassee on Dec. 22, losing at Lincoln 3-2. "It wasn't too pretty," coach Sharon Kerby said of the goals they allowed, but added that the two they scored were beautiful goals.

Cross country, football teams hold annual award banquets

      The Gulf Breeze High cross country and football teams celebrated their fall sports before heading into the winter break. The cross country teams held their banquet Dec. 12 in the cafeteria, while the football team held theirs four days later at Gulf Breeze First Baptist Church.
