New board in at Midway Fire
      Three new policy makers and a re-elected holdover from the previous board were sworn in Saturday as members of the five-person Midway Fire District Commission. William Eaton, Shellie Isakson and David Szymanski were sworn in along with incumbent Joe McPherson, who ran unopposed in the Nov. 4 general election.

Gulf Breeze Fire Department Emergency Report
      Weekly Activity Report For the week of Nov. 1-7, the Gulf Breeze Volunteer Fire Department.was called for 11 emergencies. These calls included seven rescue and EMT incidents, one natural gas hazardous condition, and a false fire alarm.

Midway Fire District Emergency Report
      Weekly Activity Report For the week of Nov. 7-13, Midway Fire District was called for 48 incidents. These calls included 30 medical, 1 house fire at the 5400 block of Soundside Drive. The house sustained about $15,000 in damage. One person was transported to the hospital with smoke inhalation. One building fire at 8100 block of East Bay Blvd in Navarre.

Cancun's buyer granted another sale extension
      The U.S. Marshals Service apparently has the patience of Job. Or, at least, it really wants to sell the seized Cancun's Mexican Grill to the high bidder of a September online auction property sale. The U.S. Marshals Florida Northern District Office in Tallahassee on Monday granted the anonymous prospective buyer a third extension, and he now has until Monday, Dec.
