Youth leave damage at local church
      Five juveniles with Gulf Breeze addresses were arrested Nov. 3 and charged with multiple counts of burglary and criminal mischief with property damage in excess of $1,000 stemming from an Oct. 21 break-in at St. Sylvester Catholic Church.

County teachers, subs waiting to learn fate for 2009-10 year

      Some school employees and substitute teachers will have to wait until mid-December to find out if they have jobs in the next school year. The Santa Rosa School District is estimating a shortfall for this school year of $8.7 million that will need to be cut by June 30, 2009.
