      Weekly Activity Report For the week of Oct. 11-17, Gulf Breeze Volunteer Fire Department was called for 19 emergencies. These calls included nine rescue and emergency medical service incidents and three fires and/or alarms. On Friday, Oct. 17, responded to the Burger King at 310 Gulf Breeze Parkway for a fire in a wall.

Election Supervisor, staff are prepared
      Santa Rosa County Supervisor of Elections Ann Bodenstein says her staff of more than 400 people is prepared to deal with any problems that might occur Tuesday, Nov. 4, in the general election. At the same time, Bodenstein anticipates a smooth process as more than 90,000 county residents potentially could descend on 41 precincts this year.
