Juniorette club to form at First Prez
      Young ladies ages 12 to 18 are invited to a Saturday, Nov. 1 organizational meeting of the Santa Rosa Juniorette Club, sponsored by the GFWC Santa Rosa Woman's Club. The meeting starts at 11 a.m. at the Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church. There will be fun, refreshments and new friends.

Caudell earns pilot's wings at 17
      Currin Caudell, a junior at Gulf Breeze High School, earned his private pilot's license Oct. 7 on the occasion of his 17th birthday. Caudell, the adopted son and grandson of Earl Caudill and great-grandson of Joy Anderson, has long been fascinated with flying. He marked his 16th birthday by performing his first solo flight.

      It's Harvest Festival time again. Calvary Chapel Gulf Breeze will host the annual Harvest Festival — an alternative to Halloween while sharing the love and joy of Jesus Christ — on Saturday, Nov. 1 from 2-6 p.m. at the Gulf Breeze Recreation Center on Shoreline Drive.

A SCARY tradition
Family transforms home into spooky graveyard each Halloween
      Screams, gasps and moans emanate from a certain spooky house in Gulf Breeze proper. Bubbling witches cauldrons, open coffins, and a graveyard are part of the creepy landscape at the home of the Dr. Kim Landry family, located at 405 Waterford Lane in the Plantation Hill neighborhood.
